Junior NTR’S “Adurs” To Be Retitled As “Naa Putrudu”

The much awaited movie from VV Vinayak and junior ntr is titled as “Adurs” by Nandamuri fans. But, now as per the talk from inner trade circles, this movie which is going to hit the theatres in December second week has been fixed with the title of “Naa Putrudu”. Initially the movie is known to have gossiped to arrive with title of “Putrudu”. With already a movie waiting for the release in the market with this title “Putrudu”, there was confusion whether to go with it or not. At last the confusion ended and the film nagar circles are saying with confidence that junior ntr’s next movie title will be “Naa Putrudu”.

Tollywood to raise Rs. 3.5 crores for flood victims

We are aware that Movie Artists Association (MAA) has come forward to raise funds for the flood victims. A star night is planned on 7th November at Gachibowli stadium. Tollywood is expecting to raise about Rs 3.5 crore through this mega event. The collected money will be handed over to the Chief Minister, Mr K. Rosaiah, at the event. Donors contributing more than Rs 5 lakh will be allowed to hand over the cheque to Mr Rosaiah. However, Movie Artists Association released the Star Night's theme song CD. MM Keeravani composed the music and lyrics were provided by Ananth Sriram to this song. The tickets are priced at Rs 1 lakh, Rs 10,000 and Rs 1,000. The association clarified that there would not be any complimentary tickets. Each and every person including the stars need to buy the ticket to grace the event.

Allu Arjun Aarya 2 to hit screens on November 18

Allu Arjun's upcoming film Aarya 2 is all set to hit screens on November 18th. Kajal is the female lead of the film. Sukumar, who directed the original is directing this movie too. Navadeep and Shraddha Das are doing supporting roles in this film. Music of the film is by Devi Sri Prasad. V Aditya Babu and Bhogavalli Prasad are combinely producing the film on Aditya Arts banner.The audio of the film which got released recently has got tremendous response.

Prabhas-Gopichand’s Multi starrer Movie Titled “Partners”

Shortly a multistarrer movie is on way in Prabhas-Gopichand combination. The title “Partners” is being considered for it. Parvathi Melton and Bindu Madhavi have been offered to co-star Prabhas-Gopichand and it is said that they have agreed to do it. A director who has given three hit movies recently is going to direct this movie. His name has not been disclosed yet. The details of the movie will be disclosed only after the finalisation of its producer. However, it is expected that it would launched on this Sankranthi day.The title “Partners” is in consideration for the flick. Also, Parvathi Melton and Bindhu Madhavi are said to be playing the lead female roles. The director of the movie is still unknown. Other details of the movie are yet to be known.

Magadheera 100 days in 220 centers

Ram Charan and Kajal starrer Magadheera is all set to create new records in 100 days centers. The film directed by tough task maker S S Rajamouli is the talk of the town from the time of its making. Magadheera is gearing up to complete 100 days in 220 centers surpassing Mahesh Babu starrer Pokiri record of 100 days in 200 centers. The film has successfully completed 50 days run in 301 centers. This is the highest so far for any South Indian film. Magadheera completes 100 days on November 7th. Star Night organized by the telugu film industry for a noble cause to help the flood victims is also on the same date. Magadheera has collected Rs.78 crores revenue in its 75 days of run at the Box office. The Magnum Opus film has shattered all the previous Box office records of the films with the collections it has generated.

Legendary director K Vishwanath is all set to direct a film after a long gap of three years. Allari Naresh will be playing the lead role in this film. K Vishwanath has offered the female lead role to Kamal's daughter Shruti Haasan. But surprisingly she declined the offer. Though Kamal instructed Shruti to take up the project, she has not shown much interest. According to the film nagar sources, Shruti Haasan declined K Vishwanath's film for the reason that Allari Naresh was not a big star.

Rajamouli for another mega movie

The tough taskmaster S S Rajamouli is still the riding the success of the mega budget movie Magadheera. The film is such a big hit that people are still talking about the same. Meanwhile, news is that Rajamouli is all set for yet another extravaganza.

The movie will be produced by K Raghavendra Rao who is said to be the guru of Rajamouli. Though the complete cast has not yet been announced, it is said to star rebel star Prabhas in the lead.

The story is said to be based on Brahmarishi Vishwamitra. Meanwhile the director is also busy with the shooting of his comedy movie Maryada Ramanna with Sunil. Looks like some interesting treat is in store from Rajamouli folks.

Suriya is all set for his bilingual

Handsome actor Suriya, who is one of the most sought after heroes in Kollywood, is getting more popular by the day in other regions. His last Tamil movie released during Diwali and has received good response.

Now the actor is all set for his next venture Rakta Charitra. This bilingual movie will be directed by one of Indias popular director Ram Gopal Varma. It is known news that Suriya will play the role of Maddelacheruvu Suri who is the main accused in Paritala Ravis murder as the film is based on the latters life.

According to sources Suriya has given 20 days call sheets for this project. With this movie, the Kollywood star will be making his debut in the Hindi industry.

Ace director Ramgopal Varma's upcoming film Rakta Charitra shoot is briskly getting progressed. The film is based on faction leader Paritala Ravi's life history. RGV guaranteed that the film based on the faction backdrop will have its realistic treatment. Bollywood actor Shatrughan Simha is portraying the role of Legendary NTR in Hindi version. In this film Shatrughan Simha has gone for a complete make over. For the first time in his long film career he will be appearing without moustache. Vivek Oberoi portrays the role of Paritala Ravi and Surya is doing the role of Maddalcheruvu Suri in all the version(Hindi, Tamil and Telugu). Mohan Babu plays the role of Legendary NTR in Telugu version. Manisharma composes music for this film. Rakta Charitra is planned to be made in two parts. Both the parts are scheduled to release in the summer 2010, with just one week gap.

Mahesh Babu as Brand Ambassador for UniverCell

Superstar Mahesh Babu is the Brand Ambassador of Chennai-based mobile retail chain, UniverCell. UniverCell will be opening 700 stores across the country in the next two years. The expansion is in line with the increasing mobile subscriber base and the likely entry of six new players into the Indian mobile services market including Datacom, Etihad, Loop, Telenor, Swan and Loop, which are expected to commence operations in the country pretty soon. UniverCell, which currently has 300 company-owned stores across the four southern states including 70 in Andhra Pradesh, is trying to touch 400 stores by March 2010 through the franchisee mode. This expansion will also see our foray into east and north Indian markets by the end of next quarter. Stating that Andhra Pradesh, which sees a net addition of 1.5 million mobile connections every month, is a major market for UniverCell. The company intended to open 100 more stores in the state in the next one year. The company was selling a sub-Rs 4,000 handset through an exclusive tie up with LG and was in talks with other manufacturers like Motorola, Karbonn and Nokia for similar collaborations. The company expected to see a 20 per cent growth in revenues this financial year, as against Rs 500 crore last fiscal.
