MS Raju's Son Looking At Bollywood Remakes

M S Raju has been known as the big budget producer of the Telugu industry and he has come up with some good blockbusters as well. However, one news that has been making rounds since ages is said to be keeping many in question mark.

This is about Sumanth Ashwin, son of M S Raju, and his debut in the Telugu circuit. Earlier, it was said that dynamic director Teja was all set to launch Sumanth but that didn’t happen. Since then, there have been gossips of this venture, that project but nothing has materialized so far.

Now, there is a buzz that M S Raju is looking at the Bollywood movies closely and is likely to launch Sumanth with the remake of a Bollywood hit (yet to be known what that film is). Given the focus Bollywood has right now on Tollywood for stories, even this seems to be a far fetched idea but many hope that something will work out soon for Sumanth.

Hot model likes Ram Charan

Ram Charan has improved his fan base with the film Magadheera. The latest one to join the list is actress Shaurya Chauhan. The model-turned-actress said that she likes Ram Charan and Puri Jagannath very much and looking forward to work with them. She is also planning to shift her base back to Hyderabad to concentrate on her career in Tollywood. Shaurya Chauhan alias Neelam Chauhan is one of the recent find of Bollywood .This hottie was first seen at the Kingfisher Swimsuit Calendar. She started her career as a model from Hyderabad, and has recently started to work in mainstream bollywood movies. Meanwhile, Ram Charan's upcoming film Orange shooting will be commencing shortly. The film is scheduled to release for Summer 2010.

Anushka deserves Nandi Award for Best Actress

The Nandi Awards were presented annually for Telugu cinema by State government. The winners of Nandi Award 2008, announced by the jury members on Yesterday dissapointed the film lovers. The reason for this is, Anushka was not rewarded with best actress award. Anushka mesmerized the audience with her stunning performance in the film Arundathi. But, the jury members rewarded her with just the special jury award. Many are questioning what colors Swathi has done in Ashta Chemma to bag the Best Actress award. They are opinioning that Swathi doesn't deserve the award, whereas Anushka deserves it. Though Arundathi got released in January 2009, it has gone to censor in the year 2008. So the Nandi Award committee considered it as an entry in 2008.

Fight between young heros for no 1 position

The fight for the number one position is not prominent among heroes in Tollywood. Many of them have their own loyal fan following who swear by their names.

However in an industry there has to be a number one and at least some sections of the media will not fail to measure the same. Two heroes have dominated the industry so far.

They are young tiger Jr. NTR who has ruled the masses and Mahesh Babu who has ruled the classes. Now there is a third hero in the reckoning and he is none other than Ramcharan Teja.

Though he has done two movies, many feel that he has the potential to make it to the top. Only time will tell who can take the throne of Tollywood.

All Heroes will grace Star Night : Dasari Narayana Rao

We are aware that Telugu Film Industry is conducting Star Night on November 7th to raise funds for the flood victims. The MAA held a pressmeet to announce the details of the event. "All arrangements are already done. Film personalities from other industries too will grace this event. Late NTR and ANR stood front to help the needy. We are continuing, what they have done in the past. Conducting this event is giving immense satisfaction to us. People from all quarters are coming forward to take part in this grand event. We are all one and we will collectively participate in the event and help the flood victims," said MAA president Murali Mohan. "Star Night would be held at Gachibowli Indoor stadium on November 7th. All Heroes, 22 Heroines, character artists and comedians will participate in this event. Any one, who wishes to grace the event should buy the ticket including me and my family members. Rajnikanth, Vijaykanth, Surya and Sarath Kumar from Tamil Industry will grace the event. Veteran Bollywood actors Rajesh Khanna and Jithendra will also participate. Amitabh Bachchan and Kamal Haasan's participation is not yet confirmed," Dasari Narayana Rao. Yuva Rajyam producer raped Receptionist

Yuva Rajyam film producer Haran Hussein Saied has raped his employee(Coordinator cum Receptionist in his film production house) and threatened to kill her if she reveals it to anyone. The 19 year old girl has approached radical Hindu Organisation Viswa Hindu Parishath seeking protection from the producer. She has appealed them to save her life from the producer who owes to kill her if she goes against his wish. "I was asked to accompany him for inviting the politicians and film industry people for the audio release function. When, we finished our work he invited me to join him for a dinner at his home, and I couldn't guess his intention behind it. I followed him into his house where he raped me and threatens to kill me if I reveal it to anyone. I felt that only VHP can give me protection from him and can give a fight to him," said the victim. VHP leaders promised to fight for her till the culprit lands behind the bars. It is surprising that, the victim prefers to approach VHP rather than lodging a complaint with local police, which gives a twist in the case leading to Hindu Muslim problems.

Siddharth to work on his physique

According to sources Siddharth is all set to work on his physique. The reason is that he is going to act in an action movie which is similar to the Hindi flick “Lakshya”.

This film expected to be an action thriller will be directed by Allari Ravibabu. Siddharth is expected to sport a six-pack body for the same.

Meanwhile he has also consented to do a socio-fantasy flick under ABODE banner. This flick will be produced by famous director K Raghavendra Rao and directed by his son Kovelamudi Prakash while the leading lady happens to be the sensuous Shruti haasan.

Sources indicate that Sidz will hire Aamir Khan’s trainer for his physique.

Raasi keen to produce a movie

Actress Raasi had been in her peak during the 90s. However the actress went into oblivion later and was not seen for a long time. The actress did make her comeback though as a producer.

However the movie failed miserably which brought in lot of debt for the actress as per sources. But then, the actress does not seem to have given up and wants to prove a point.

According to sources, she has acquired another good script from a local writer and is in search for a financial source.

Sources indicate that recently she met a producer who recommended her to some friends that he knows. Only time will tell whether Raasi will be successful in her efforts or not.
